Alagoas Tyrannulet

Phylloscartes ceciliae

Critically Endangered

The Alagoas Tyrannulet is a small tyrant flycatcher of Atlantic Forest of eastern and southeastern Brazil. It gleans and sallies for tiny insects, often moving quietly through shrubs, forest edges, or canopy foliage. It faces an extremely high extinction risk, so every remaining habitat patch and breeding site matters.
