The Andaman Teal is a duck, goose, swan, or close waterfowl relative of Eurasian wetlands, lakes, rivers, coasts, and seasonal migration routes. It feeds on aquatic plants, seeds, invertebrates, or small animals in lakes, marshes, rivers, floodplains, and coastal waters, and many populations gather or migrate seasonally in large flocks.
