Least Concern

The Arabian Waxbill is a small seed-eating waxbill of Arabia, the Horn of Africa, and nearby drylands. It moves through grasses, reeds, scrub, farmland, or open woodland in pairs and flocks, taking grass seeds and small insects. Many estrildids build domed grass nests and give soft contact calls.
