The Bare-throated Bellbird is a Neotropical cotinga of Atlantic Forest of eastern and southeastern Brazil. It feeds largely on fruit, moves seeds through forest canopies, and many species use loud calls, bright plumage, or display perches during breeding. It is not yet globally threatened, but range limits or habitat pressure mean it needs watching.
