The Bearded Bellbird is a Neotropical cotinga of central american forests from southern mexico to panama. It feeds largely on fruit, moves seeds through forest canopies, and many species use loud calls, bright plumage, or display perches during breeding. It is not yet globally threatened, but range limits or habitat pressure mean it needs watching.
