The Black-banded Flycatcher is an Old World flycatcher of Timor and nearby Lesser Sunda islands. It watches from a perch, sallies after flying insects, or gleans prey from leaves and trunks, using woodland, forest edge, scrub, plantations, streamsides, or island forests depending on the species.
