The Caribbean Hornero is a hornero of open and semi-open country in Colombia and Venezuela. A terrestrial bird, it walks over open ground probing for insects and is famous for building a sturdy oven-shaped mud nest. Fun fact: The family is named for the horneros, which build sturdy oven-shaped nests out of mud.
