Caspian Tern

Hydroprogne caspia

Least Concern

The Caspian Tern is a gull, tern, or skimmer of Central Asian lakes, steppes, and inland seas. It feeds around water on fish, crustaceans, insects, carrion, or scraps; terns often plunge-dive, gulls patrol coasts and lakes, and skimmers cut the water surface with an elongated lower bill.
