Chestnut-crowned Bush Warbler

Cettia major

Least Concern

The Chestnut-crowned Bush Warbler is a small, secretive warbler of Eurasian and Southeast Asian scrub, reedbeds, and forest edges. It keeps close to dense grass, reedbeds, bamboo, or tangled undergrowth, where it picks insects and spiders from stems and leaves. Many are heard as sharp notes or rich songs before they are clearly seen.
