Least ConcernThe Choco Toucan is a large-billed forest bird of Choco forests of western Colombia and northwestern Ecuador. It feeds mostly on fruit but also takes insects, eggs, and small vertebrates, and it nests in tree cavities. It is currently assessed as Least Concern, though healthy habitat and secure nesting trees remain important locally.
