Least Concern

The Cordilleran Canastero is a canastero of open scrub and grassland in Argentina, Chile, and Peru. It keeps low in grass and scrub, creeping through cover for insects with its tail often cocked. Fun fact: Many members of this family build extraordinary nests, from mud ovens to huge stick castles and tunnels dug in earth banks.
