Capito quinticolor

Near Threatened

The Five-colored Barbet is a fruit-eating barbet of Choco forests of western Colombia and northwestern Ecuador. It moves through forest canopies and edges, taking fruit and insects and nesting in tree cavities. It is not yet globally threatened, but declines, restricted range, or habitat pressure mean it needs watching.
