Flammulated Treehunter

Thripadectes flammulatus

Least Concern

The Flammulated Treehunter is a treehunter of humid montane forests in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It clambers through dense understorey and foliage, probing moss and leaf clusters for insects. Fun fact: The family is named for the horneros, which build sturdy oven-shaped nests out of mud.
