Golden-naped Barbet

Psilopogon pulcherrimus

Least Concern

The Golden-naped Barbet is a stout-billed canopy bird of Borneo's hill and montane forests. It feeds heavily on figs and other fruit, also taking insects, and its ringing calls often reveal it before it is seen among leaves. Pairs nest in tree cavities that they excavate or reuse.
