Lanceolated Warbler

Locustella lanceolata

Least Concern

The Lanceolated Warbler is a grassbird, bush warbler, grasshopper warbler, or close ally of East Asian breeding grasslands, reedbeds, mountain scrub, and southern wintering areas. It stays low in dense grass, reeds, bracken, or forest understorey, searching for insects and spiders, and many species are more often heard by their trilling songs than seen.
