Magellanic Cormorant

Leucocarbo magellanicus

Least Concern

The Magellanic Cormorant is a fish-eating waterbird of Patagonia and the far southern Atlantic coast. It dives from the surface to chase fish and aquatic prey, then often rests upright on rocks, posts, banks, or trees with wings held out to dry.
