The Magpie Goose is a striking black-and-white waterbird of northern Australia and southern New Guinea wetlands. It has long legs, a long neck, a hooked bill, and partly webbed feet, and often gathers in large flocks on floodplains and freshwater marshes. Fun fact: It is the only living species in its family, Anseranatidae.
