Moseley's Rockhopper Penguin

Eudyptes moseleyi

Endangered

The Moseley's Rockhopper Penguin is a flightless seabird of Tristan da Cunha, Gough Island, Amsterdam Island, and St Paul Island. It swims with powerful flipper-like wings, feeds mainly on fish, krill, or squid, and comes ashore or onto ice to breed in colonies. It faces serious conservation pressure, usually from habitat loss, low survival, or a small and declining population.
