Least Concern

The Mouse-colored Thistletail is a thistletail of high-Andean grassland and scrub in Ecuador and Peru. It skulks low through high-Andean grass and scrub, gleaning insects, its long tail trailing behind. Fun fact: The family is named for the horneros, which build sturdy oven-shaped nests out of mud.
