The New Zealand Storm-Petrel is a small storm-petrel of the southwest and central Pacific oceans and island waters. It spends most of its life at sea, fluttering close to the waves to pick planktonic crustaceans and small fish from the surface, and nests in burrows or crevices on remote islands.
