The Newell's Shearwater is a tubenose seabird of Hawaii, the north-central Pacific, and nearby oceanic islands. It ranges widely over the sea, using dynamic soaring or low gliding flight to find fish, squid, crustaceans, and carrion, and usually nests in burrows, crevices, or remote island colonies.
