The Persian Shearwater is a tubenose seabird of Socotra, Oman, and the northwestern Indian Ocean. It ranges widely over the sea, using dynamic soaring or low gliding flight to find fish, squid, crustaceans, and carrion, and usually nests in burrows, crevices, or remote island colonies.
