The Pintado Petrel is a tubenose seabird of subantarctic and Antarctic islands and southern oceans. It ranges widely over the sea, using dynamic soaring or low gliding flight to find fish, squid, crustaceans, and carrion, and usually nests in burrows, crevices, or remote island colonies.
