The Red-billed Scythebill is a scythebill of humid forests in Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina. It climbs tree trunks propped on its stiff tail, using its long curved bill to probe bromeliads and bark crevices for insects. Fun fact: Woodcreepers prop themselves on stiffened tail feathers to climb tree trunks, much as woodpeckers do.
