The Red-tailed Tropicbird is a graceful tropicbird of tropical Indian and western Pacific oceans and remote island coasts. It spends most of its life over warm open sea, plunge-diving for fish and squid, and returns to cliffs, ledges, or island ground to breed with its distinctive long tail streamers.
