The Rufous Cacholote is a cacholote of dry woodland and scrub in Brazil, Bolivia, and Paraguay. A bold, vocal bird of dry woodland, it forages in cover and builds a massive stick nest. Fun fact: Many members of this family build extraordinary nests, from mud ovens to huge stick castles and tunnels dug in earth banks.
