The Sangihe Dwarf-Kingfisher is a kingfisher of Sangihe Island in northern Indonesia. It hunts from perches, hovering flight, or shaded forest edges, diving or pouncing for fish, crustaceans, insects, lizards, or other small prey. Many species nest in tunnels, termite mounds, or tree cavities near water or forest clearings.
