Slender-billed Xenops

Xenops tenuirostris

Least Concern

The Slender-billed Xenops is a xenops of humid forests in Colombia, Peru, and Brazil. It works along thin twigs and vines, often hanging at odd angles to probe bark and stems for insects. Fun fact: The family is named for the horneros, which build sturdy oven-shaped nests out of mud.
