The Spotted Antbird is an antbird of humid forests in Panama, Costa Rica, and Colombia. It forages in dense forest undergrowth, taking insects and other small invertebrates, and usually stays close to cover. Fun fact: Antbirds are a large family of New World tropical birds, and males and females often differ strikingly in plumage.
