Tanimbar Corella

Cacatua goffiniana

Near Threatened

The Tanimbar Corella is a cockatoo of Indonesian islands and nearby Wallacea. It uses a strong bill to crack seeds, nuts, fruit, and wood, nests in tree hollows, and often lives in noisy, social flocks or pairs. It is not yet globally threatened, but declines, restricted range, or habitat pressure mean it needs watching.
