Aphrastura spinicauda

Least Concern

The Thorn-tailed Rayadito is a rayadito of temperate forests in Argentina and Chile. An active little bird, it forages through foliage and bark in southern forests, often in family groups. Fun fact: The family is named for the horneros, which build sturdy oven-shaped nests out of mud.
