The Tibetan Sandgrouse is a ground-dwelling sandgrouse of the high plateaus and dry steppes of central Asia. It forages in small groups for seeds across open dry country and is adapted to long flights between feeding areas and waterholes; adults may carry water in specialized belly feathers to chicks at the nest.
