The Western Fire-eye is a fire-eye of humid forests in Ecuador, Colombia, and Bolivia. It regularly attends army-ant swarms, seizing insects and other small creatures that flee the advancing ants. Fun fact: It is a specialist ant-follower, depending on roving army-ant swarms to flush the prey it eats.
