White-faced Plover

Anarhynchus dealbatus

Least Concern

The White-faced Plover is a shorebird of North African, Middle Eastern, and Asian coasts and dry flats. It uses its bill, legs, and alert flight to feed on invertebrates, seeds, or small aquatic prey along coasts, mudflats, rivers, lakes, grasslands, or open ground; many shorebirds make impressive seasonal movements between breeding and non-breeding areas.
