Yellow-breasted Warbling-Antbird

Hypocnemis subflava

Least Concern

The Yellow-breasted Warbling-Antbird is an antbird of humid forests in Peru, Brazil, and Bolivia. It forages in dense forest undergrowth, taking insects and other small invertebrates, and usually stays close to cover. Fun fact: Despite their name, most antbirds do not eat ants; they are named for following army-ant swarms to catch the insects the ants flush out.
