Not Evaluated

The Chestnut-headed Chachalaca is a noisy, social cracid of north-central Brazil between the Tapajos and Araguaia river systems. It moves through thickets, forest edges, and trees in pairs or small groups, feeding mainly on fruit, flowers, leaves, and other plant material. Because it has not been separately assessed by IUCN, its exact conservation risk is still being clarified.
