The Choco Tinamou is a localized forest tinamou of the Choco region in Panama and northwestern Colombia. It occupies humid lowland and foothill forest and is threatened by forest loss, settlement, and hunting. Fun fact: Its range is so small that well-protected Choco forest blocks are critical for its future.
