Little Tinamou

Crypturellus soui

Least Concern

The Little Tinamou is a small, widespread forest and thicket tinamou from southern Mexico through Central America and much of tropical South America. It favors dense cover, secondary growth, and forest edges. Fun fact: Its clear, whistled call is often one of the easiest ways to know it is nearby.
