Quebracho Crested-Tinamou

Eudromia formosa

Least Concern

The Quebracho Crested-Tinamou is a dry-forest and Chaco tinamou of south-central South America. It has a small crest, cryptic sandy-brown plumage, and favors thorny woodland, scrub, and open woodland edges. Fun fact: Its camouflage is so effective that it is more often detected by voice than by sight.
