Sickle-winged Guan

Chamaepetes goudotii

Least Concern

The Sickle-winged Guan is an arboreal cracid of Andean cloud forests from Colombia and Ecuador south through Peru to Bolivia. It usually keeps to forest canopy and edges, feeding heavily on fruit and helping move seeds through tropical and subtropical forests. It remains comparatively widespread, but healthy forest and woodland still matter for keeping local populations secure.
