The Sula Megapode is an Indonesian island megapode restricted to the Banggai and Sula Islands. It lives in lowland forest, mangrove, shrubland, and forest-edge habitats, but is threatened by habitat loss, hunting, and egg collection. Fun fact: Its mound nests may be built near scrub or cultivated edges as well as forest remnants.
