Wattled Guan

Aburria aburri

Least Concern

The Wattled Guan is an arboreal cracid of humid Andean forests from Colombia and Ecuador south into Peru and Bolivia. It usually keeps to forest canopy and edges, feeding heavily on fruit and helping move seeds through tropical and subtropical forests. It remains comparatively widespread, but healthy forest and woodland still matter for keeping local populations secure.
