White-throated Tinamou

Tinamus guttatus

Near Threatened

The White-throated Tinamou is a forest tinamou of Amazonian and Guianan lowland forests. Its pale throat contrasts with warm brown upperparts, but it remains difficult to spot on the dim forest floor. Fun fact: Tinamous can fly, but their short wings make most flights brief and explosive.
