Yellow-legged Tinamou

Crypturellus noctivagus

Near Threatened

The Yellow-legged Tinamou is a Brazilian forest tinamou associated with Atlantic Forest and nearby woodland. Its yellowish legs and cryptic brown body help distinguish it from similar forest tinamous. Fun fact: Habitat loss in Brazil's Atlantic Forest has made remaining forest patches especially important for this species.
